Our Journey
Kasapay was founded as a subsidiary of Remitcore Limited, one of East Africa's leading fintechs. Our story began with a simple but bold vision: to make payments in Africa flow as freely as its ideas.
In pursuit of this mission, we became the first non-telco company in Kenya to secure dual licenses from the Central Bank of Kenya—as a Payment Service Provider (PSP) and a Money Remittance & Foreign Exchange provider (FX). This milestone positioned Kasapay as a pioneer in regulated, compliant, and scalable payment infrastructure across the region.
